Telescopic Forks for Automated Warehouse AS/RS Systems & Pallet Handling
Our AS/RS systems are automated-controlled systems that store and retrieve products in distribution centres, warehouses or manufacturing facilities.
Automated storage has been developing since the 1960′s and is one of the smartest and most sophisticated material handling systems available. Loads are strategically delivered via automation upon demand without the use of manual labour.
Most AS/RS systems are used worldwide for handling pallets. AS/RS most common configuration is a pallet rack, in single-depth or with multiple pallets stored one behind another (double-depth) with narrow aisles between, allowing a tall-masted crane to move down the centre of the aisle on a raised metal rail.
Our product reaches into the pallet location, slides under the pallet and pulls it out into the aisle onto the carriage.
Here at LHD Group, we’re able to work with every type of system in every type of Automated Warehouse.
Pallet handling systems are used in automatic storage systems or warehouses. Our telescopic forks systems are used in production to transport raw material or semi-finished products on pallets, containers or in racks between production areas or machines. The process often requires buffering on conveyors or in an automatic storage and retrieval system (ASRS) between the production steps. Automated warehouses ASRS systems allow to maximize the available space in existing structures and minimize storage space. Pallet racking can be configured in a variety of ways and systems, depending on the customer’s requirements and pallet load. Telescopic forks are one of the most essential components of the ASRS system.
Our Telescopic Forks, here at LHD Group, are specially designed to provide versatility and control for any pallet handling systems design.
Fully compatible with any size pallet, the telescopic fork can be single-depth, double-depth or triple-depth to maximize capacity. We customize the telescopic forks for the application and storage requirements of each project.
